![]() ![]() The traditional system of syrup grades may look like it’s evaluating quality, but it’s not. "It is confusing, but the easiest way to think about it is that maple syrup is sugar, so it counts toward your daily intake of added sugars, but it doesn’t contain added sugars," says Amy Keating, RD, a nutritionist and food test program leader at CR. The FDA agreed but said that producers still needed to list the percentage of the daily value of added sugars supplied by their product so that consumers would know how much it contributed to their daily added sugars intake. However, honey and maple syrup producers pushed back, saying that consumers would think that the products contained sweeteners other than maple syrup or honey when manufacturers don’t add sugar to these products. When the FDA set its requirement for manufacturers to list added sugars on Nutrition Facts labels, it had originally intended for maple syrup and other single-ingredient sugars, such as honey or table sugar, to have all of their sugar grams listed as added sugars. However, if you look at the Nutrition Facts label on a bottle of maple syrup itself, you won’t see a line that says "includes X grams of added sugars"-but the Daily Value column will list a percentage. And if you stir some maple syrup into your oatmeal or pour over pancakes, that maple syrup would count toward your daily added sugars intake. If maple syrup is an ingredient in a packaged food, such as granola or granola bars, the sugars it contributes will be listed under the "added sugars" line. The American Heart Association recommends consuming even less-no more than 25 grams for women per day and 36 grams for men.īut regulations about how maple syrup’s sugars are listed on Nutrition Facts labels could lead to some consumer confusion. The daily limit, according to the Food and Drug Administration, is no more than 10 percent of your daily calories, or 50 grams (about 12 teaspoons) for someone on a 2,000-calorie diet. The sugars in maple syrup are considered " added sugars” in your diet, and keeping your intake of added sugars low is more important than the type of added sugars you eat. But 2 tablespoons have 104 calories and 24 grams of sugars, and many other foods have those same nutrients without the high calorie and sugar load. In addition, pure maple syrup contains antioxidants. ![]() In two tablespoons, you get quite a bit of the mineral manganese and the B vitamin riboflavin, plus small amounts of the minerals calcium, potassium, and zinc. Yes, slightly, because it contains some nutrients. ![]() The second part of the song (last 3 lines) is repeated. AlouetteĪloutte (100 bpm) by Bruno Berloto 2. I play all the songs with a 10 hole diatonic harmonica in the key of C (letter C). Learn more about different tablature systems in this article: “How to read harmonica tabs” The tablature I use is the arrow system – up arrows for blow notes and down arrows for draw notes. At first, problems with playing hole leaps are very common because you may not have a good reference on the harmonica yet, but you will improve this with practice! When you jump from holes 6 to 4, you could accidentally play hole 5 by falling short, or hole 3 by jumping too far. When you jump holes, you must not move your mouth too far from the harmonica just try to keep the gap to a minimum to land right at the center of the hole you want to play next. “This Old Man” and “Jingle Bells” have several articulations and many passages with hole leaps, which make them even more demanding for a beginner. ![]() Playing a song with a clean sound is more important than playing it fast. It will be useful to learn each song bit by bit, and then play it all together. The songs are arranged by difficulty, and each song has a slow practice version and an original tempo version. In 9 of these songs you will see that on the tabs there are as many articulations as repeated notes. As a consequence, the sound of the repeated note will be clearer. These articulations separate the notes and give them a more defined starting sound or accent.įor example, when we play a hole 4 blow and then repeat it, instead of blowing twice (with two separate airflows), we will only blow once, and by using the syllable “TA” as an articulation, the continuous airflow will be interrupted when your tongue fastly hits the hard palate, separating the notes. It is also advisable to apply articulations using syllables like “TA” and “DA” when doing repetitions of blow and draw notes, respectively. ![]() If you find it difficult to play these songs I highly recommend that you go first to my article How to Play the Harmonica – An easy-to-follow Guide. The keyword you target for your video could act as the first tag for your video. This field is also available for your already uploaded videos through the YouTube Studio. You’ll now find the “Tags” field where you can start adding tags related to your video. In the upload flow, click on “More Options.” Once your video is ready, start uploading it from the YouTube Studio. Step #1: Upload Your Video And Add Your Target Keyword As The First Tag… Once you’ve found the right phrases and produced videos on them, move on to the first step below. But I had to rely on an “unweighted” score as this subject wasn’t related to my channel, so TubeBuddy would only allocate a “poor” score for any of its variants. In the above case, I was able to find a keyword - “how to tie a windsor knot step by step” - with an excellent score. If even these efforts fail, consider exploring other subjects. You can browse related searches to find out phrases with a better score. It considers the relevance of the phrase to your channel and how you compare with others that rank in search. Sidenote: This is a “weighted” score specific to your channel. If a keyword tag gets a low score, you’re better off considering keywords from the “Related” section which have a better score.įor example, “how to tie a tie” has a poor score. TubeBuddy has a robust Keyword Explorer for this which allocates an “Overall Score” to the phrases you search. Generally, these are the kind of phrases a lot of your target audience is searching for yet they have relatively low competition. ![]() Step #0: Create Videos On The Right Subjectsīefore you begin adding tags, it’s important that you target the right topics in the videos on your channel. If you already know how to perform keyword research to find subjects that you should target for producing your channel’s videos, then jump to step one directly. The right kind of tags, unsurprisingly, begin with finding the right subjects for your videos - so I’m labeling it as step zero. Here are the three simple steps to go about YouTube tagging your new videos to increase their chances of ranking in search. How To Add Tags On YouTube: 3 Simple Steps ![]() With the caveats of tags carrying minimal value out of the way, let’s explore how to use YouTube tags to help your videos perform better - even if only a little. However, once it has sufficient view data, cowatch data, watch time, CTR, and keyword specific watch time data (how many minutes watched by users who clicked on it from SERPs for a particular keyword), YouTube can be much more confident about the video’s subject and where it’ll perform best.” As a result, creator-defined data is given more weight, and YouTube must rely on it during the first few months of a video’s lifespan. “My theory on why this happens is that YouTube is more reliant on creator contributed video data early on, when it has fewer usage data points to determine what a video is about. Once users start watching it, YouTube gets data to make connections on the subject matter of the video. The reason for the fall in the value of tags over time may be attributed to the lack of data points early on in its YouTube lifespan. So focusing on YouTube tags when launching your video is important, but as it ages they don’t make a lot of difference. It’s also worth noting that the weight of keyword tags falls over time as per a Briggsby study of 100k videos across 75k YouTube channels. In most cases, your thumbnails and titles of videos play a more important role than keyword tags. Otherwise, tags play a minimal role in your video’s discovery.”Ī 2017 Backlinko study of 1.3M YouTube videos also confirmed that keyword-rich video tags have a weak correlation with rankings. So what are the best YouTube tags to use in your videos?Ĭan YouTube Video Tags Help You Get More Visibility?Īs per YouTube: “Tags can be useful if the content of your video is commonly misspelled. Here’s an example from one of my videos which ranks for multiple keyword tags: You can add multiple tags for every YouTube video, separated by commas - the upper limit on tags for YouTube is 500 characters. Some people who do not use most of these features want it to be just a phone,” Constantin Boym, Pratt Institute’s chair of industrial design, tells AD. “The phone today has too many functions, too many apps, and now too many photo options. ![]() And despite smartphones being as popular as they are today, there’s even a nostalgic trend to return to the flip or slider phones of the early 2000s. Their designs were avant-garde, and became quickly intertwined with pop culture of the time- Paris Hilton is best remembered from that era clutching one of her dogs and a cell phone. In the first decade of the new millennium, cell phones hit the mainstream for the first time, and numerous companies battled to create the next must-have accessory. The general idea of most matches, both PvE and PvP is to capture various points on the map, until one team obtains total control of all points on the map. The concept of the general gameplay is exceedingly simplistic, but refreshingly so. ![]() The campaign in RWR is similar to the campaign in a game like Battlefield, relatively pointless, because all the hours of gameplay are in the multiplayer. The whole way through the campaign, the objective is merely to take over the entire map, and drive the two enemy factions back. On face value, the campaign mode is there to get you to understand the concept of the game, understand weapons and roles, as well as learning how to get your ass handed to you by the enemy AI. There isn’t really a storyline, even in the campaign mode. The game features a full length campaign, and fully integrated multiplayer Co-Op, PvE, PvPvE and PvP. There aren’t quite as many weapon accessories load out options, but the experience system and weapon unlocks, as well as objective point play is quite similar. The easiest possible way to describe the game is like Battlefield but top down. While it’s not a total spiritual successor, it does have some small and vague similarities.
